When I tried to buy a song for my script and film, “Before it’s Too Late,” I found it far too expensive and complicated so I wrote the lyrics myself.

At a local restaurant in LA I asked the waitress if she knew of anyone who could sing a country song. The receptionist come over who indeed said she was a singer and could do Country.

In addition, her boyfriend was a musician who could write the music. Working together for a few weeks, the song was added to the script and included in the film.

“Before it’s Too Late” is a love song between the car and the elderly driver who will soon be giving up his keys forever after many years of driving.

Music written by Robert Max; Sung by Lana Inderman, and Lyrics by Steve A. Hartman
